Week 3 did not get any better for the Eagles or my picks, but here we go again. Remember "bad things happen in Philly" so I'm not expecting much this week. But we're hanging on for dear life
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS BY NO MEANS ADVICE WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR MONEY, IT IS JUST FOR FUN
Totals so far:
ATS: 4-5
Straight Up: 28-19-2
Survivor Streak: Week 3
DFS points: 438 vs. Optimal: 873
Locks of the week:
Chicago vs. Indianapolis
Spread: IND -2.5 | Moneyline: IND -134; CHI +114
Pick: Chicago +2.5
The only thing i've gotten right so far this season is the Chicago Bears and that was before Nick Foels. So, letting it ride with Chicago AGAIN. Eventually the luck will run out, but at home versus a struggling Indy, I can see them pulling this out.
Detroit vs. New Orleans
Spread: NO -4 | Moneyline: NO -205; DET +172
Pick: New Orleans -4
Drew Brees hasn't been doing as well this year, and Michael Thomas is questionable, but I just don't see Detroit pulling this one out. They got lucky last week against Arizona. Saints will take this one
Jacksonville vs. Cincinnati
Spread: CIN -3 | Moneyline: JAX +136; CIN -161
Pick: CIN -3
Joe Burrow avoided another loss against our Eagles, but he still hasn't found his first win as it ended in a tie. Gardner Minschew has been putting up good numbers but can't seem to pull it off either. This has potential to be high scoring because neither defense is great. The real play here may be the over, but I'm taking Cincinnati -3, Burrow gets his first win.
Survivor Pick: LA Rams
PIT, TB and CLE were already used. Baltimore is again another good choice, but I am saving them up for later in the year. LA plays the Giants who really have no shot against keeping up with the scoring of this offense.
Straight up Picks
NOTE: Pittsburgh vs. Tennessee is delayed until later in the season due to the first COVID outbreak on a team. This means week 5 the Eagles play Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh after a "bye" week
