Week 5 brought the ATS picks above .500 and almost had two weeks in a row with double digit picks straight up. But Survivor didn't do so well, Jimmy G disappointed against Miami and left me out to dry. Hopefully Week 6 doesn't do the same.
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS BY NO MEANS ADVICE WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR MONEY, IT IS JUST FOR FUN
Totals so far:
ATS: 8-7
Straight Up: 47-29-1
Long Survivor Streak: Week 4
DFS points: 716 vs. Optimal: 1432 (HOW EMBARRASSING)
Locks of the week:
Atlanta vs. Minnesota
Spread: Minnesota -3.5 | Moneyline: MIN -202; ATL +172
Pick: Minnesota -3.5
Atlanta is just playing for Trevor Lawrence at this point they have not shown any hope since the loss to Dallas. Minnesota is going to put a nail in the coffin for them today and I'll be riding their coat tails.
Minnesota wins 55.6% of games at home vs. the spread and they'll keep it going today.
Washington vs. New York Giants
Spread: NYG -4 | Moneyline: WAS +121; NYG -142
Pick: WAS Money Line
The line dropped to 2.5 but opened at 4. Washington is going to win this one outright but its going to be an ugly game. Joe Judge isn't looking to win this season they want to extend the rebuild 1 more season and wait for Saquon to be back healthy.
Ron Rivera has too much pride to let this one slip away. Scarily Washington will be 2-0 in the NFC East. Washington themselves aren't great on the road against the spread, but all that goes out the window with Ron as coach.
Houston vs. Tennessee
Spread: TEN -4 | Moneyline: HOU +121; TEN -142
Pick: TEN -4
See below (substitute Josh Norman with Houston):
Survivor Pick: Kansas City
PIT, TB, CLE, LAR were already used. San Fran was used but was a loss. So, we're starting over from 0 week streak this week. Still won't reuse a team.
Kansas City is my pick this week. Bills are playing decently this season, but Josh Allen won't be able to keep up with Mahomes especially if he continues to throw interceptions like he did last week against Tennessee.
Other choices are Miami and Patriots
Straight up Picks
NOTE: KC vs. BUF is a Monday (afternoon?) game now
